Thanks to everyone who has downloaded or purchased the plugin! To provide better support, we have decided to implement an official support forum that will take the Q & A out of email format and, over time, hopefully build a very useful tool for anyone using the GoToWP plugin.

There are three main categories for posting: Free Version, Premium Version and Woo Addon (to be released Jan 1, 2014). When creating a post, simply select the appropriate category and we will respond as soon as we can.

INSTALLATION / SETUP TIPS

Generating Key / Token (All Versions – Free, Premium and Woo)

Please use our offical app at http://app.gotowp.com to generate your key token. There are other places online to generate keys, however, they may be purged periodically and as such we recommmend that you generate your key and token at our official app as they are stable for 1 year.

Premium

1. Make sure you setup PayPal IPN for your PayPal account as below:
Login to your PayPal account and add the following URL to the IPN setting: http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/ipn_action/paypal (note: replace YOURDOMAIN with the domain your WordPress site is setup on)

2. If you are not using “universal pricing”, please ensure you have a price set for all webinars on the “Webinars Price” tab in the plugin settings as seen in the screenshot below:

3. Using the email notification feature released in 0.8

4. Using the individual pricing feature and type=list released in version 0.9

5. Setting up MailChimp and/or Constant Contact Integration released in 1.0.5

For Mail Chimp visit: https://us8.admin.mailchimp.com/account/api/

Login in your Constant Contact or Mail Chimp account at the links above and then copy/paste the username, password and API key in the fields on the Email Providers tab of the plugin settings seen below:

Every time someone registers for a Webinar, their name and email address will automatically be added to the connected Constant Contact or Mail Chimp account.

  • Would like to know this as well. I have a client looking for exactly what this does, but they use the Go to Training so I need to know if it works with that or not.

    Thanks for your patience awaiting my response. I had emailed Linkbiz that we were investigated expanding the plugin to work with Citrix’s other products and we have decided to undertake this endeavor, namely, to expand the GoToWP plugin to interface with G2M, G2T and G2A, in addition to the current G2W support.

    We hope to launch this, as well as a half-dozen or so other feature enhancements during Q1 of 2014. Please keep checking back for updates, as we’ll post them when ready.
