Switching to OAuth API v2
June 26, 2020 2:21 pmOur GTW plugin is not currently syncing our webinars to our WordPress site because we’re still using OAuth API v1. I have no idea how to update it and retrieve a new access token. I’m also not a coder or developer and the person who created our site and installed the plugin does not work here anymore, so layman’s instructions will be greatly appreciated! 🙂

The link in step two of the instructions you sent is a 404 (https://goto-developer.logmeininc.com/user/me/apps)
they seems to have made changes recently
please try https://developer.logmeininc.com/clients
That link works, but then the screenshots of instructions sent don’t match that link.

How soon do you think the instructions will be updated? I’m sure my manager is not going to grant me permission to send admin rights. If I “create a client” from that link (https://developer.logmeininc.com/clients) it seems I can kind of make sense of the instructions to get through, but then the Client ID and Client Secret I’m provided don’t do anything once I place them in the site.
after putting client id and secret you have to click on “Connect with GoToWebinar” button and follow
I put in the client ID as the access token and the client secret as the organizer key, then I click “Save Details” – is that right? After I click “Save Details” I “Sync with GoToWebinar” but nothing happens/updates. This is under the “Manage Your Webinars” option – I would assume all scheduled webinars would show up here have the steps I’ve taken worked.
which version of plugin you are using?
We’re using Version 3.0.4
api v2 updates are implemented in version 3.2.1
latest version is 3.3.4, you should update to latest version
so do I have to update? or could I still be using api v2 with the version we’re currently using?
you have to update to latest version
if you have active subscription you can update plugin easily from plugins menu
I don’t see where to update it – how do I know if our subscription is active?

I’m sorry – I don’t know what the “purchased order_id and email” would be (again, our site was created by someone who’s no longer here and made it very difficult to find things). Can you advise where I might find this information? I’m sure I can guess one of several emails that may have been used.
