Selling recorded webinars

I’m following the example in your documentation.

When you go to check out, you don’t get the registration information as you do when you purchase a live webinar.

Here is an example of the recorded webinar: Click on add to cart to see the payment but no registration information. Not showing the registration part on the page.

Here is for a webinar in the future: Click on add to cart to see the payment and registration information. This is working properly.

  • Yes, that is correct. It is because the Citrix API handles upcoming/live webinars differently than recordings. For live/upcoming ones they collect registration information, and for recorded ones they only provide a link, which you cannot pre-register for. So in essence, when you are selling a recorded webinar through WooCommerce, you are selling access to the link for the customer to watch the recording. If Citrix makes changes to how they handle this we will update accordingly, but that is how they have chosen to handle them for now. Thanks and please let us know if you have additional questions!

  • Hi, Where does the person find the link after the order. They don’t have a link in the invoice from woocommerce. I am using memberships to only charge non-members. I can send you a copy of the invoice and my orders pages. Is there something else I have to do. Do I need to add a link for to the product?
